Tired of Excessive Chemical Treatment

and Clogged Strainers & Coils?

TACO High-Efficiency Air and Dirt Separators

Could Be Your Solution!

The next generation of air elimination and sediment removal separators is here. TACO 4900AD air & dirt separators remove the micro-air bubbles using PALL ring technology.

These PALL rings inside of the air separator provide enough surface area to remove not only the air bubbles but also the micro-bubbles. Independent 3rd party tests have shown air bubble removal down to 18 microns. The extra surface area provided by the PALL rings also remove and separate solid particles (down to 35 microns) from the flow. The dirt can then be removed through a blowdown valve. This high efficiency cleaning of air and dirt simply cannot be achieved by using a standard, low surface area, air separator with strainer.

TACO 4900AD air & dirt separator features:
  • PALL ring technology
  • Standard high capacity auto air vent
  • Standard Blowdown and hose bib connection
  • Removable dome option for access to all cleaning surfaces
  • Standard & Hi-Velocity Models

Not All Air & Dirt Separators

Can Back Up Their Claims

      Some manufacturers claim

      high efficiencies of dirt and

      air removal with their designs

but don't have the 3rd party

test data to back these up.

      Extra surface area inside of

an air & dirt separator is crucial

      to remove microbubbles and

      smaller dirt particles.

Pictured Above: Design B air & dirt

    separator with minimal internal surface

area.  This unit was tested at various

    flow rates and produced sediment

    removal efficiencies of 4.6-9.0%* for

    100-200 micron particles.
